Beaver Street Fisheries, Jacksonville, Fla., has become the first repacking facility in the nation to receive a “Best Aquaculture Practices Certificate” from the Aquaculture Certification Council.

A company press release noted that “As an industry leader for more than 50 years, we think that it is important to do our part to source, develop, stock and sell ecologically conscious seafood. With an extensive QC staff and our on-site USDC inspectors, we have taken on other challenges in the industry such as 100% net weight products.”

A complete list of the certified items is available at www.beaverfish.com.
