Danvers, Mass.-based High Liner Foods is launching two new sauced shrimp products in an expansion of its Sea Cuisine line of prepared frozen seafood entrées.

Currently available, the new items are White Wine & Herb Shrimp, which features large shrimp with herbs in a white wine sauce that offers a hint of sherry, and Shrimp Scampi, which also features large shrimp but in a butter and garlic sauce.

Both products employ Quicksteam microwave technology for ease and quality of preparation.

Developed to give families a chance to enjoy the sophisticated flavors of a chef-inspired dining at home and without the high costs of dining out, the new products are set to retail at $5.99 to $6.99.

Introduced in 2008, Sea Cuisine’s retail line today includes 14 encrusted and sauced entrées, including five tilapia, three salmon, two cod and four shrimp dishes.
